The Libertarian Democrats, a Global Movement

The Libertarian Democrats is an idea that was conceived as being of global value in that it is seen to be the natural course of the development of humanity through the course of this Century.

The Founder of this Organisation is Dr Shantanu Panigrahi. He is a Hindu Indian by birth who came to the United Kingdom as a 15 year old boy and was educated in England up to Post-Graduate Level before working in the Scientific Civil Service for 18 years. He then became a Freelance Researcher on Environmental and Social Sciences incorporating the Humanities until the age of 64 writing extensively in websites to add to his 35 scientific publications. He was an avid sportsman in his youth and in later years took detailed interest in the political and legal structures of the United Kingdom studying the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, the United Kingdom Independence Party and the Conservative and Unionist Party joining these political entities to study the Constitution of the UnitedKingdom.He then formed the Conservative Libertarian Society (https://www.theconservativelibertariansociety.com/) and its offshoot The Conservative Libertarian Party of the United Kingdom. On 11 July 2021 he abandoned these institutions to form the Libertarian Demcrats and this website has been created on this day to stimuluate interest in the concept of Libertarian Democracy.
