Dear all, and especially the Labour Party

With due regard to recent developments whereby I was in the process of learning which Party serves the nation of the United Kingdom to the best approach in dealing with the multifarious issues that are both in short term and long-term interests of all, I am terminating my Appeal to the English Appeals Panel of the Liberal Democrats and re-demanding the refund of the £34.50 from the Labour Party that I paid as membership fee to rejoin.

I am now certain that I shall be voting for the Conservative and Unionist Party at the forthcoming general election and subsequently at all general and local elections no matter who the Leader of the Party is and no matter which Party wins this particular election.

Dear Standards Officer

Liberal Democrats

With reference to your confirmation of my appeal to the English Appeal Panel as attached: FrStandardsOfficerLiberalDemocrats(EnglishAppealPanelCaseNo30AllocationConfirmed)29Apr2024; this email is just to clarify that I am definitely not a member of the Labour Party or the Reform UK Party and as you may already know I am not a member of the Conservative and Unionist Party or the Green Party. Furthermore, I do not intend to join any Party other than the Liberal Democrats.

I have a website where I promote an idea that I developed, namely 'The Conservative Libertarian Society, a middle of the road concept between the left and right. The EAP may consider it important to get to know what the Society represents at https://theconservativelibertariansociety.com. I am the sole member currently although some people do post materials on the website.

I look forward to your next communication on the Appeal in place as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

The Labour Party

1. I telephoned the Labour Party at 12.08 pm and spoke to a man in Membership, discussed my numerous emails, Keir Starmer's email, He said I had resigned. I said there was confusion on that, that I had been a member of the Labour Party for many years, I cannot get into Labour Hub which is asking me to telephone you. I was just renewing my membership. I paid £34.50 for retired membership. I sent Membership an email this morning. Can it not be fast-tracked? He said No Your application was submitted on 30 April and it will go through the normal sort of process. I said So you cannot give me a Membership Number now? He said No. Ok Thanks and Bye.

2. I telephoned Labour Party again 12.20 pm (UK-Time) 1 May 2024 and spoke to the same man. Told him that the Labour Party is playing games with my membership. I want my L....membership number restored. I sent 10-15 emails and none of them I got a reply back. The Labour Party is dodging and diving. I want me Membership Fee returned unless you can give me the old Membership Number back. I was just paying the membership fee. He said that they cannot make an exception; that my application will have to go through the usual process. I said That is not acceptable to me I need political representation now. He said He can cancel my application. I said Can you make sure I get my money back. He said He can do that. Ok Thank you.

3. No emails have still come to me from the Labour Party and I am bound to draw your attention to the following communication when the initial confusion arose: https://www.knowledgeassessmentanddissemination.com/post/query-on-my-membership-of-the-labour-party-is-it-resolved

Kindly let me know what the present situation for my membership or the refund of £34.50 is.

Yours sincerely

Dear Labour Party

At 10.35 am I dialled the Labour Party and spoke to the operator in Membership: I said there has been some confusion about whether I am a member or not of the Labour Party. I received a couple of emails or at least one this morning about Training on Zoom and I registered for that. Could you check if my membership is valid or not? She asked me for my Membership Number. I said that I did not have that. If I give you my postal address, could you check. Yes she said I gave her ME8 0SL. She looked it up and said you applied on the 5 of March  or some date then and it has not yet been approved. I said then I cannot register for the Training Events? She said she would not know about that because it is a separate Department that deals with that. I said that I have not received the Membership pack in the post yet. If you Look at Labour Hub you will see my membership details and the number beginning with L something. She said that that the membership pack would not be sent until the application is approved. I asked Are you sure that it has not yet been approved? She said that she was very sure. I asked how long will it take? She said she would not know there was a big backlog. I said OK I will wait to hear from you. The Call ended.

Sir, Labour Hub just checked shows that I resigned as a member with the following display: L1545992. Join Date 6.3.2024.

Please clarify.

Yours sincerely

In the face of their tremendous resources, we cannot be caught off guard. We must be prepared to hit the campaign trail running.

Labour’s Training Team has got you covered - check out our upcoming online training sessions this week so you’re ready to campaign with confidence.

Upcoming sessions

Everyone has a part to play in delivering the next Labour government.

If you’re new to the Labour Party or want to get more involved, we’re hosting a 'Get involved in your local party' session on Thursday 21 March at 6pm.

We’ll cover how the Labour Party works locally, and how you can be a vital part of the action. Book your space:

Register here

And did you know a conversation you have could be all it takes to turn an undecided voter into a Labour voter? And when all our volunteers are confident speaking to voters on the doorstep, it could be the game changer that helps us secure a Labour victory.

We’re hosting a campaigning masterclass, 'Win '24 Get Involved: Effective Conversations' this Sunday 24 March at 10am.

Hear from the experts at Labour on how to speak with key voters and uncover the issues that matter most to them. Register below:

When we come together and campaign at our best, it makes all the difference for Labour. Simply put, effective volunteers make victories happen.

The Tories will chuck it all at this next general election. To deliver the next Labour government, we have to be able to beat them.

Don’t fail to prepare. Register for our training sessions and let’s win together.

Thank you,

Labour’s Training Team

As we build up to this year's general election, we are sending more emails. That's because we need to raise more funds and mobilise more volunteers than ever before. To receive fewer emails, click here.

The Labour Party runs on small donations. The majority of our online donations come from emails just like this one. You can donate today by clicking here.
