Mr Panigrahi's views are as valid as the next person but it would be nice for him to focus on the post topic and not try to use everything as a platform for preaching religious thoughts. Please stick to the point:
Leave the armed forces to the armed forces please. We don't want a huggy feely 40 ish housewife in Highgate sitting in her kitchen shaping the army. The Army kill people and unless the lady knows about killing people then her opinion will not be worth consideration. The British military has developed over hundreds of years. DONT MESS WITH IT.
Come on are we the Conservative Party? Stop this nonsense.
All in favour of any views that think the armed services would function better with the introduction of critical social justice theory or will this only weaken our fighting force and create a nice little earner for someone's wife.

You say you are the Conservative and Unionist Party, so the armed forces must be allowed to regulate themselves, is that the point you are essentially making. That is not the society that I wish to be part of. The armed forces are subject to the democratic processes of governmental control for which they will be answerable to the electorate. You need to convince the electorate of the need to have a State run by a dictatorial armed forces so that they command the government of the country like a killing machine. I am getting out of here if this is what you are advocating; and faster than my legs can carry me.
