As the attached shows: ToAnnaTarrant(APPEAL TO REJOIN THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS TCLP-UK Twitter)4Jun2024.docx; there has been no refusal by the local Party preventing me from rejoining the Liberal Democrats.

If the Party disagrees, please provide me with the necessary evidence that permission to enter the Liberal Democrats website and pay £15 membership fee immediately will then subsequently enter another round of refusal later on.

Thank you for your email.

You are already allowed to apply to rejoin the Liberal Democrats via the Local Party. You do not need to submit an appeal to the English Appeals Panel in order to apply to join the Party.

Paragraph 6 of the Decision Notice for EAP Case 30 stated (my emphasis added), "Regarding the status of this appeal, my view is that an appeal is now the incorrect approach for the erstwhile Appellant. Having withdrawn his appeal twice, the refusal to his previous request to re-enrol must stand. He can of course submit a new request to join the party, which should go through the usual process, including potential refusal by the Local Party."

Please direct your application to join the Liberal Democrats to the Local Party.
