Dear Shantanu,
You have attempted to join the Party several times over the last few weeks and on each occasion your application has been declined by the Local Party. After you have been advised that your application has been declined, you have appealed that decision to the English Appeals Panel but have withdrawn each of your appeals within a few days of submitting them.
I'm afraid we have relatively limited resources at HQ, and we cannot continue to respond to communications of this length and frequency. Sending emails in this way is confusing, creating unnecessary duplication and hampering our ability to carry out our work. If this style of communication from you continues, we may need to cease communicating with you. Your most recent appeal to the English Appeals Panel was withdrawn by you and consequently there is no outstanding case for us to correspond on.
Our Complaints process is by design an independent process delivered by volunteer adjudicators who make determinations based on the rules agreed by Conference and thus our party members. It is therefore not appropriate for us to escalate any matters being dealt with by the independent process to the Party Leader or other senior figures.
Kind regards,
Beth

Dear Standards Officer
Liberal Democrats
On receipt of the preliminary Report of the English Appeals Panel to my efforts to rejoin the Liberal Democrats as attached EAP 30 - PANIGRAHI - initial Determination and Consultation.pdf; I had requested that the matter should be escalated to a higher authority within the Liberal Democrats Party as attached: ToStandardsOfficerLibDems(REVIEW PROCESS TO FOLLOW ENGLISH APPEALS PANEL DECISIONS IN CASE 30)4Jun2024.docx
and submitted my clarifications in a fresh new form as attached: EAP_FORM Liberal Democrats Appeal to Rejoin as Member.docx.
I completed a Fresh new application on the Liberal Democrats website and opted for the Direct Debit Payment Mechanism.
However, this was not acceptable to Ms Lynn Ibeji of Medway Liberal Democrats and Ms Anna Tarrant of Liberal Democrats South East, with whom I had the attached correspondence: ToLynnIbeji(MedwayLiberalDemocratsReplytoOpposition)4Jun2024.docx;ToMsAnnaTarrantSELD(Love_Complicit with Dastardly State crimes on Me)6Jun2024.docx.
I am this morning of the view that there has been a systematic process in play that has marginalised me out of becoming a member of any political party, be that the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, Reform UK Party and the Conservative and Unionist Party.
What is your reply to this allegation based on the fact that the Standards Officer did not escalate the matter to Sir Ed Davey for his intervention?
Yours sincerely
